Did you have any signs of labour before it started?

Just wondering for the lucky mums that have had their babies did you have any signs labour was starting? Or did it just start one day?

I was crampy for about a week or so. Then a few days before he was born my mucous plug came out over a few days. It was like snotty discharge for two or three days. My baby was really low too for about a week before his birth. But mostly crampy and baby really low were my signs. My water did break and I had some bleeding right before I went to the hospital.

It just kind of started for me. I was pretty sure she was never coming, lol

I just felt really awful the whole day before. Cramps and extreme discomfort and fatigue.
