Taking My NuvaRing Out Early

Hey! I have a date later this week, so I was hoping I could take my NuvaRing out tonight (Sunday) instead of Tuesday night when I normally would so that I can get my period with out of the way before then. Will this screw it up? Obviously if it will I won't do it, but thought it was worth a shot asking. I know that I can't go longer than a week off, so I would reinsert a ring next Sunday if I took it out tonight, but just not sure if I can take it out early
