count of sex per month, while TTC?

I and my partner have been trying for a baby, and how much ever we try the count of having sex limits to 3 per month, mostly during my fertile window. Isn't that enough to get pregnant ? We both work so get tiered by the end of the day, especially myself. How many times did you have sex during a month and got positive test?
