Do you need to bring you diaper bag to the hospital?

I see pictures of people with their diaper bag and hospital bag ready to go. The hospital provides diapers and everything so I don't see a need to bring my diaper bag when all I need for the baby is a few onesies and socks lol. My hospital doesn't give pacifiers and bottles to encourage breastfeeding so don't need those. I have a blanket with my stuff.

This is my second & im bringing my diaper bag simply because I'm an extremely organized person and don't want our clothes mixed in one bag. Hospital does provide everything so I won't be bringing diapers or wipes but it'll have his clothes & blankets in it.

I'm going to give birth at a birth center, so I'll get discharged after two or three hours. I still like everyone to have their own separate bag so if someone needs something, they don't mess up someone else's stuff.

We brought our and it had 10-12 outfits, diapers, wipes, pacifiers, bottles, socks, blankets, hats, bows and a few other things. Some people need them and some don't

I'm bringing my diaper bag.. But it's not being used as a diaper bag. It has all her clothes and stuff in it. 
I will have a diaper clutch on the car, with like 2 diapers and some wipes.. Just in case.

I not only have one bag but two lol ! To each it's own but giving birth is hard and I wanna be as comfortable as I can be. I want a robe, flip flops that I can shower with, my own toiletries, my birth ball, a couple of nursing bras, comfy yoga pants, shirts, clean outfit to go home with, charger ..For baby... onesie's, hair bows, take home outfit, blanket...

I'm not bringing anything for my baby other than clothes! All those other things will be provided so I'll save those for home use. But maybe I should consider bringing a long a pacifier too? Lol I'll do more research!

To each their own. With my first we lived an hour away from the hospital so I packed a diaper bag, just in case we needed to change him or anything on the way home, with my second we lived 10 minutes out of town, so I didn't pack one for him, figured we would be heading straight home so didn't feel like we needed one. Whatever you feel comfortable with, just be sure to have blankets and extra clothes and socks for baby. Just in case it's cold.

I brought my diaper bag with my 1st baby because I don't know any better and felt silly. 2nd baby I just brought my bag and out my son's going home outfit in it, his blanket for going home and some pacifiers in case I wanted different ones. You really don't need a diaper bag. Hospital provides everything.
