two weeks late

Ok so I have really irregular periods due to weight I'm assuming. But over the past few months I was able to predict when my period would come. This month my period is two weeks late, but any time this has happened before, I would always take a test and it would turn out negative. Would you guys take a test if it were y'all? I just don't wanna spend money on a test when I'm pretty sure the results will be negative.
