Start of labor or false contractions?

I am due in 3 days.. Last night was by far the worst night I've had when it came to sleep. I could not get comfortable at all, every time I got up to use the bathroom I felt so much pelvic pressure and blood tinged discharge light pink. Around 5am I woke up with diarrhea.. About 15 minutes later I started getting contractions about 5-10 minutes apart and have been since and they hurt. My water did not break as of yet. This definitely could go both ways however, I really feel like she will make her appearance either today or tomorrow. Thoughts?! Should I call my doctor or wait it out?
