4 1/2 month olds hair is falling out??

Question

My baby was born with a thick full head of hair but recently I noticed it thinning out and I know her rubbing her head on her chair is probably part of the reason but what else could it be? It falls out if I wash it and I find pieces of it on the bed or her blankets. Is this normal?

Mine never really had hair from the beginning. He is finally now getting his hair.

Totally Normal. My son had so much hair when he was born. Around 3.5 months he started losing to it all. Then about a month later it started coming in again. Now at 5 months he looks like he has a buzz cut bc it's all growing in so fast! Lots of hair

My son will be 5 months on the 29th, and hes was born with a  major head of hair, and the sides and back are almost bald, although he still has all hair on top. But new hair is already coming in, so like the other moms said, completely normal!
