Do you have prodromal labor?

I keep having fake labor pains. They last about 40 secs and are 3-4 mins apart but stop after x many hours and no dilation. I didn't have any of this with my first son. Actually I was in labor and didn't even know I was because I felt nothing at all and was 4cm. Do any others have this? How far along are you guys and how many CM's?
