real or myth?

Can condoms have pin size holes? My only birth control method is condoms & i use them from start to finish our genetials don't touch at all until he has a condom on. Every single time after we're done we fill up the condom with water to check if it leaks or if it's broken. Since nothing leaks does it mean that we're fine or can it have pinsize holes & not be noticeable even with liquid?
