Am i too picky?

Question

Any other wife's have to tell your man what to clean?! I think I am too anal. I don't even like leaving my house without making the bed or having a clean sink! Hubs used to obsess about having a clean clutter free room... now he doesn't care if the sink has dishes or the bed is made. I feel the obsession swapped. Right now he's in between jobs BC he's a construction worker so I am working. Which is fine whatever but when I work until 830 pm I expect certain things to be done when I get home. He says " why does it matter when I do them as long as they get done?" My thing is.... When he's working... on my days off or my early day shifts . .I have the house cleaned, dishes done, clothes washed & folded, & dinner finished our almost finished. I come home to him watching TV. 😡 it's frustrating.

I get a little annoyed when I leave for work with the house clean and by the time I get home it's messy and not picked up. He works days, I work some evenings. HOWEVER, I try not to nag and complain about the small stuff. He helps our girls with homework, gets them ready for bed and makes their lunch for school sometimes. So I can't be overly ocd!! I appreciate all that he does do.

Some men are just wired differently. Try asking him in different ways. Bribery maybe lol. I know it shouldn't have to be that way but use your womanly powers to get him to do what you want.  You got this.

I am beyond thankful my man like clean/to clean just like I do. He doesn't do it AS good but gets an A for effort. I on the other hand, clean like an ocd person. No one in the house does it like I do.

Right there with you sista. I love my hubs but when he does clean, it's never as good as me. 😂 That's just a fact. And yes, I have to ask and ask. I've learned to ask just once, very, very nicely. And even then, most of the time, it still doesn't get done. 😜 **throws hands up in the air**

I know the feeling! I feel like I am the only one who can see garbage sitting on the counter, or a garbage bag full that needs to be taken out.
I work full time, my husband stays at home (he's a disabled veteran) and he says he will clean since he's always home. I got more cleaning done yesterday in two hours than he has the last few days of being home all day. 
He does clean just not as much as I would like. I still have to follow behind and pick things up.

That's my man all over !! He also works in construction and I feel like I'm doing all the work. I can't just ask him once to do things for me he has to be over and over again ! So I've learnt to just do it myself .. no matter how frustrating it gets ! 😒

I often think i'm too picky aswell. My bf is so undomesticated that it drives me insane. All those little annoying things he does pile up into one big shit storm. The other night he wiped a bedside table down with one of my faux fur cushions... I made him sleep on the couch.

Safe to say i have very little patience. My place is my place and i just dont put up with guys assuming no responsibility when they make mess.
