Clomid, third time around!

Jordyn
Let me give you a background on me. My fiancé and I have been trying for about 4 years now and never got pregnant. We finally seen a doctor in March and that was when I was told I have PCOS. They had me on birth control to clear up my ovaries with the cysts and metformin for three months. In June was my first round of Clomid with 50mg. I ended up having two periods that month (a reaction from stopping the birth control) and had a progesterone level of 4.5 (in July) meaning I didn't ovulate. In July, my doctor upped the dosage of  Clomid to 100mg. My progesterone level was 49.5 that time (in August). My doctor seemed very surprised and happy about that! But I had started my period. I have been reading that that level is pretty high but a good thing and means the medicine is working very well! Also I have still been taking metformin of course. I took my third round of Clomid last month and had my progesterone levels checked yesterday. Should be getting my results on Thursday! Just super anxious and hope this time worked!
