Finding other moms???

Question

As a 20 year old with a happy little oops baby on the way, how do I find other moms? I know eventually my little gremlin will make friends when he's in daycare but I still have no clue how to find other moms to be in my area. Advice would be very helpful!!!

I'm the only one in my group of friends to have a baby. So naturally I needed to make at least one mom friend! I googled every mom and baby group/activity/whatever and literally signed up for everything. Now I'm part of a moms group at my local YMCA. And we've tried a bunch of really cool stuff like yoga, massage, and even baby reflexology.

I'm 20 and on my second child. No one my age that I know can relate except one but she doesn't live near me. It's tough but once our babies are in school and make friends hopefully that will give us a chance to make some mommy friends!

Have you tried meetup.com?  There might be mom groups in your area listed on there, or you could start your own.

Also, you can meet other moms at your local La Leche League meetings☺

Childbirth classes would be a good way to meet other expectant moms. Or maybe like a prenatal yoga class or something, but you should check with your doctor before you start anything like that.
