What's going on :/

Well a.f was supposed to be here on the 8th but I've been having pinkish spotting on and off today when I wiped when I went to r.r was a little darker red/pinkish but when I got home nothing and still nothing I have no pms symptom I tested on missed period and negative I'm not sure what's going on ? Could those 4 days on and off be a.f :/ it wasn't normal to a period :'(
