What do you do in these breastfeeding situations?

Say you're having a gathering of close family (10 or so people) and everyone's sitting around talking. Would you consider it appropriate to breastfeed your child and remain in the conversation, or leave the room to do it and then return?

If you say it is approptiate, what if among the group of family, there are a few who are uncomfortable or dislike breastfeeding? (Personally, my aunt is vocal about not wanting to see it or be around it. Is it my duty to leave the room, then?)

What about for holiday gathering and things of that nature where there's extended family/friends? Same room, or separately?

What if there are men in the room? Cousins, uncles, etc? Is it inappropriate as they may see a little tit?
