How to tell my mom I'm not a virgin anymore??

I'm 16, I've been sexually active for about 8 months now. I'm not on any birth control and I want to talk to my mom about getting on the pill, but she doesn't know that I'm having sex. I've only had sex with one guy and it was both our first time so I'm not worried about stds because we use condoms anyways. I just want to know and easy way to tell my mom or your guys stories. Also one thing that makes it a little more complicated is that my mom is 30 weeks pregnant, and I'm not sure if I should wait to tell her or not.

My mom didn't know until I was showing her my ultrasound pictures. Double whammy for her and it's been a rough road dealing with it. My parents don't agree with premarital sex, so that's mostly why. But I'd suggest telling her before you end up in a situation with a pregnancy. If you think she'd freak out it may be best to wait till after the baby is born. Stress isn't good for the baby!

The day my mom found out was the day I thought I was pregnant and I needed to get a pregnancy test. Don't wait until then, that's the worst way for a parent to be told 😫

If you think this would freak her out a lot, I suggest you wait. Stress isn't healthy for pregnancies. If she wouldn't care much but it's just your own paranoia, then tell her if you'd like.
Just be in a private area and be honest. Tell her exactly what you've told us. You're both each other's first and you always(?) use condoms (parents always want their kids to be safe so this will make it easier for her to hear). Then if that wasn't too much for her to take in, you should tell her you'd like to get on the pill to be safer, not just to not use condoms (seriously hoping that's your plan, because it's always better to use at least two forms of contraceptive at all times especially if you're not ready to deal with a pregnancy).
