Do we always have to wear breast pads?

Im kinda tired of wearing breast pads, not only am i dealing with period being crazy and having to wear long pads but i constantly always have to be changing my breast pads  Will it continue to be like this while im breastfeeding?

I stopped needing them around 3months. Hopefully you won't have to use them forever!

I'm still wearing them at 4months, sometimes forget to wear them and usually end up leaking through :(

I haven't had to wear them since my daughter was mayb 3-4 months. And even then I only had to wear them really when I went to work. It gets better.
