anyone fail first glucose test and pass three hour?

I'm a little frustrated and scared of the diet. Hoping I'll be able to pass the three hour test. I've never been much of a sweets eater but I've also never needed to control my diet as I've always been pretty thin. So frustrated 😔

My first pregnancy I failed the first and passed the second, but I have insulin resistance so my blood sugar is usually a little high! I have a good friend who is like the healthiest person I know and she failed the first and passed the three hour. I'm actually in the middle of the three hour test right now. Yuck! 😖

I just got a call and failed the 1 hour and scared of not passing my 3 hr my number was 135 cutoff is 130 😔

I failed my 1 hour - the cutoff was 135 and my results were 141. My doctor reached out to me and gave me the option of the 3 hour or managing my diet and blood sugar levels at home. I'm opting for the at home management. I got really sick and nauseated from the 1 hour test and I'm awful with getting my blood drawn. So getting 4 draws in 3 hours while fasting isn't really an option for me, I'd pass out cold. I don't eat a lot of sugary foods anyways and eat healthy when baby lets me so it won't really change much for me.

Try not to worry too much!
First one was a little too high for me, so I had to do the whole 3hour thing, too. It turned out everything is ok! But I worried a lot before getting the results. Try and relax until you know for sure. Also, there's worse than gestational Diabetes, a friend of mine had it and the Baby turned out perfectly healthy and normal due to only diet adjustment!

Very common that drink is like having 52 jelly beans now I'm a diabetic for life but I know if I go low all I need is 3 or 4 to put me up to normal level expecting people to bounce back after 52 is crazy esp when the body remembers the last amount of insulin it produced I'm sure being preg most are trying to eat healthy and therefore don't produce alot  not to cover 52 jelly beans anyway and then add into the fact the usually tell you not to eat your insulin level produced is even lower again it just doesn't make sense to me  hope that helps some what

I failed my test. I don't have to retake the test yet but I do have to test my blood sugar level 2hrs after every meal for the next two weeks. After that they'll look at my results and decide whether I have gestational diabetes or not and whether I need to retake the test.
