Random bleeding after sex

So i had sex last night with my boyfriend. When we were cleaning up after he said " your bleeding a little"

I was like" I am? Not supposed to start for a few more days"

So I put a tampon in and this morning I took it out and, nothing.

Haven't had one in since 8 this morning.

This never happened before. And idea why this could happen.

The sex was typical not to rough. So I'm lost. Haha
