extra long period on depo shot?

i got my first dose of the depo shot in august of this year. today is the fourteenth day of my period (mine usually last only five days). its been very light compared to what i usually have, but its been two weeks and im starting to get concerned. if anyone else is on/has had the depo shot and had these side effects, how long did you have your period for?

I've had a period for two weeks now and I'm on my second month on the second shot and it's heavy somedays and light others. I've also started taking 400 mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours to see if that would help and it would be super light and then go right back to heavy. I don't know what to do either but I have my yearly exam tomorrow so I'll ask doc I guess
