gripe water...thoughts???

My daughter has been super fussy the past two days. She is 8 weeks old and I don't know if it's a growth spurt or something else. I received gripe water at my baby shower and never used it. I was just wanting to know if anyone has used it, and has anyone had any luck???

I just hate how large the dose is by the time I get half way done giving my LO spits up the gripe and what's in his belly😏

When I gave gripe water to my lo, she would have blow out diapers with in a few hours. She would still cry like crazy or be super fuss. We just changed the formula to enfamil gentlease. That help us a lot.

We use it for inconsolable fussiness and it's a miracle worker!! You don't need to use the full dosage though... 1 or 2 mL is more than enough.  We have been using the little remedies brand.  Don't use it right after eating though, it has caused our little man to spit up his food twice and we learned our lesson! Any other time though, he loves it!!

Sure!  It's just a sugar water with some herbs and ginger in it.  Try it yourself if you are hesitant but there's no reason not to at least try it. :)

Check out the Wonder Weeks app and/or book! All babies go through predictable leaps in mental development. It's jarring to them so you'll notice crying and clinginess for anywhere from one day to a couple weeks. The app/book are AWESOME! Likely, nothing is wrong with your baby's digestive system.

Yes it works! Once it hits my babies tongue it's an immediate result that he stops crying and it calms him for awhile. Make sure not to give it to your child too fast, give it in little squirts at a time. If you give it too fast they may gag or spit it out because it's too much in their mouth. I just bought the night time version today, but I didn't have to use it tonight. I'm excited to see how that version works for those nights where he's super fussy.

I love gripe water I use it almost daily. I have the night time one too. They work great for hiccups and fussiness. The brand I use is mommy bliss. They have a probiotic one to that I use daily as well to help with his digestive system. I have found with these three products his fussiness has improved 100%. I hope this helps☺️
