Follicle maturing?

Hi all! 
So a little back story, my hubby and I have been trying for 28 months, no success on 150mg of Clomid. I'm currently on Metformin now and did 150mg of Clomid with it. I had an ultrasound today and I had 1 follicle at 16.2mm, and last month the largest one only got to 12mm. My doctor said I'd probably ovulate in 4 days if it continues to mature. That being said when would the best time to have sex? I can't use opks since I have PCOS. (Gives false positives)

I'd guess tomorrow then once a day for 3-4 days to catch the egg. Good luck.

I've done 3 IUIs and hubby was told he needed to abstain at least 2 days before his semen sample. So if you are having an IUI in 4 days, then I would try 2 days before and then again the night or morning after ✨

We have been TTC for 28 months too. I didn't have much luck on 150 clomid I ovulated but it was realy late so i switched to femara and I had 3 follicles last month and no side afects at all!!! I love it. They monitor me and I take a triger shot when they are large enuf so there is no guessing invalid.

I finished my first round of clomid this month and my doctor said to bd every other day from CD 9 to CD 20

I have PCOS and I was told to use OPKs. If you're taking the clomid and everything you shouldn't get false positives
