Positive induction stories???

Question

Have been told this week by my obstetrician that it looks like I'll have to be induced at 38 weeks due to PIH/borderline preeclampsia and I'm so disappointed... I really wanted a natural birth and I've read so many things about how inductions have a 30% chance of leading to a c-section, there's no natural painkillers etc etc... Has anyone got any positive induction stories they can share with me???

Mine was great! Labored for 5 1/2 hours and pushed for 7 minutes then my little man was here! My body reacted very well to the pitosen. And I had no pain. Don't listen to all the horrible stories and things you here. Everybody is different! Good luck :)

All I will say is , GET AN EPIDURAL. I delivered my first, all natural. My second, whom I just delivered on the 12th was induced. Never ever ever experienced pain like that. I was fine after epidural but before that came into play, I had morphine, because I couldn't take the pain. It put my poor baby girl in distress & they had to perform CPR on her. She's now still in NICU. It was the scariest thing I've ever encountered

I was introduced yesterday morning at 600 am, and it went beautifully, my water was broken at 645 ai was given an epidural right after then they started pitocin, I labored pain free for 3 hrs and my twins were bron 945 and 952.

My mom had one with me. Start to finish was like 10 hours or some thing. No c-section. No forceps, no suction. Got an epidural because that had always been her plan and everything went smoothly. 
There's always a chance for a c-section. Even in a medication free birth. Who cares how you do it? Long as you get your baby in the end I don't see why it matters how they come out

I was induced at 39 weeks due to gestational diabetes. They did it with cervadil at 8 am. By 3 pm, I was in active labour, and by 5, my water broke. We removed it, and I laboured at home for three more hours before going to the hospital. My induction was successful, but due to the size of my baby, I ended up with a c section 24 hours later. If she hadn't gotten stuck, I would have had a drug free birth.
