wonky cervix?!

This month I have been trying to track my cervical position and although I can feel it getting higher and lower through the month, I'm pretty certain the hole is kind of to the side?! I can't tell if it's open or closed it just seems like a slit to me, but defo to the side! Also i can get my finger right around the sides of my cervix - it seems to stick farther into my vagina than I was expecting! Is this normal?!
