No heartbeat?

A bunch of ladies on this app already saw a heartbeat in week 5. This was taken 5 weeks + 4 and she only saw the yolk sac. I'm worried now 😢

I had a late implantation bleeding at five weeks and had an emergency Transvaginal ultrasound to make sure that "baby" was there and at that ultrasound they were only able to see the yolk sac in the uterus as well, please don't worry… I went back for my regular scheduled appointment at 7+2 and had another transvaginal ultrasound then, with a strong heartbeat… Five weeks is very early for heartbeat or even a distinguishable "baby."  💕😘

Do not give up hope at this early stage. It is still very early to see heartbeats. As a matter of fact, this is exactly why a large majority of doctors do not see patients until they are at least 8 weeks along, because before then, baby is super super tiny and hard to see. That's very early to hear a heartbeat. I was told not to expect it till 7 weeks, but ended up hearing it st 6 weeks. Totally normal not to hear it at 5 weeks. Don't worry

I didn't even get an option to hear the heartbeat until 12 weeks. 
My midwife wouldn't even try at 8 because it's hit and miss using the Doppler. Even at 12 weeks it took a minute to find. (Won't be getting an ultrasound until 20 weeks)

5 weeks is often too early to detect a heartbeat in an ultrasound.

Technically the ultrasound tech I had said you can see a heartbeat at 6 weeks and them after 6 weeks with certain type of ultrasound you can hear it. I heard mine at 8 weeks.

Thank you ladies. I feel a lot better. It felt like I was seeing ultra sound after ultrasound of women in their 5 weeks with fetal poles and heartbeats.

Dont panic give baby some more time.  I didnt see heartbeat that early either.

At 5w2d this all we saw. Then at 6w4d we saw a heartbeat!
