mucus plug ?

Question

I'm 33 weeks going to be 34 tomorrow & I went pee wiped & then I seen this thing that was clear but had some yellow in it but not much, it was pretty long maybe about an inch 1/2 & it was very stringy, it had no blood I wish I would of taken a picture but I found one off google that looked just like mine, is this my mucus plug? & should I be worried if it is & im only 34 weeks ?

Usually they're a light red/bloody pinkish and/or brownish when you lose it, but that does either seem to be you lost your mucus plug, or that your cervix is just starting to efface (get thinned out) and that you might even possibly be starting to dilate. But even though this could mean that you lost your mucus plug, or that you're starting to thin out and dilate, that doesn't necessarily mean anything about when you'll be going into labor, so no worries. It could be today, a week from now, 4 weeks from now, it all just depends on when your baby and body are both ready!
