Baby shower???

Is it because I'm Hispanic that my baby shower will be in a hall with a dj and buffet and open bar and over 100 ppl... because I see everyone else's here having there's at home with little games and simple and cute. Am I just being extra? My entire family is like this

My family is hispanic, im half and the baby's father is full. 
My shower will be in a community hall with 80+ peple invited, a keg for the guys, and games for the women... i think it's our culture 😅
The hispanic parts of the family is completely fine with it all, but the rest (white side) think its a little overboard.. but they are also so excited cause they dont see showers like this ever.. its always small at the house and a few close family only.. so they are looking forward to mine (next weekend!) 😁

Not at all, I'm black and mine will be similar just not alcohol... my family don't know how to act around liquor but we will have a champagne toast🙂

Mine is at a party center.. We don't have 100 people.. More like 50... But too many to try to get in a house comfortably

I'm not Hispanic but my baby shower was thrown by my boyfriends mom (his entire side of the family is Hispanic) and we had mine at his house with a few games but there was still at least over 80 people there.
