I had a beautiful, short and uncomplicated birth on Labor Day. Just like with my first, my water broke at 4:15 pm while I was taking a nap. When I checked in at the hospital I was 4.5 cm dilated. They took me to the delivery room. Things were progressing quickly. Contractions were close together and very intense. The baby was going down the birth canal quick. I got the glorious epidural around 7:30 pm. I couldn't feel any more pain. So nice. Around 10:30 I was 10 cm dilated and ready to push. Milo was born at 10:47 after 5 pushes. He weighed 8 lb., 5 oz and measured 21 inches. He latched and nursed immediately. A heathy baby boy. We are over the moon.
