Seeing you ex for the first time after the breakup?

Yesterday i saw my ex for the first time in 2 months and i handled it a lot better than i thought i would considering he broke up w me. I broke down after i got home though :/. Im curious to how you guys handled the first encounter after the break up, tell your stories!

I think this is part of why I'm glad my ex lived two towns over. I doubt I'll ever see him again and I'd be glad not to.
If I did see him, I'd probably punch him in the face or my current boyfriend would do something. My ex was manipulative, a cheater, and once tried to force himself on me.

3 years on and I still freeze up every time I see my ex in person, on Facebook or name even mentioned. Even in a committed and loving relationship, you just don't get over the person who caused you the most pain.
