Am I a bad friend?!

So, long story short here ladies. My friend recently split up with her bf...and I have been friends with them both for the last 5 years or so. Anyway..I messaged my friend to see hocw she was...and she never messaged me back, so I thought maybe she needed space, so I left her to contact me. Ive still heard nothing.

Now I just commented on her ex bfs post on fb (keeping in mind we are still friends) that his pic was cool as he is in Amsterdam...seconds later my friend puts a status implying 'a so called friend is a snake'

am i wrong for commenting, even if after messaging her she hasn't replied back to me?!
