Boyfriend Advice Please!

So my boyfriend was recently asked by a girl if he wants rides to school since she lives near by and he used to be friends with a while ago. I feel that it isn't appropriate when it will be just him and her alone. Plus, eventually going to become after school rides as well. In fact, I do not trust her and he still thinks that there isn't any problem. Am I overreacting or what..?
