difficult behavior?

So my LO is 6 mos and has started screaming whenever we do something she doesn't like- such as put her down or stop playing with her, etc. Is this normal? I'm a FTM so I don't know If this is typical for babies or if this is temperament or something I am somehow causing...any input would be appreciated!

My daughter is almost 7 months and she just started throwing little tantrums when I take something away that she's not supposed to have, (she's crawling and into everything) or if I put her down and she wants to be held still. I've found that distracting her with a toy or something fun, or even making a funny face or noise at her makes her forget about being upset.

I tell mine to calm down and we will play later or I will hold him in a minute and tell him what I'm doing. Normally as long as I talk to him he will stop.

Download The Wonder Weeks app and/or research "leaps" in infant's mental development. That may help explain the behaviors (why they are occurring, how long they should last, etc). That helped us a ton!

I read something about 6 month olds becoming more aware that they are trying to communicate more and if screaming gets results they will scream, they're fast learners. The article als said they're easily distracted so distract them and they will "forget what they were mad about" 😂😂😂

Mine started doing this too, but at night he would would wake up and move around a lot he wouldn't cry now when he wakes up he wakes up crying and screaming
