Should I worry ?

I've been trying with my boyfriend for about 5 months. I've been off the shot for about 5 months too. I'm starting to worry that him or I may be infertile/sterile. How long should I wait before I start to worry ? Thank you !

Was your last shot 5 months ago? If that's the case then the shot itself has only been somewhat out of your system for about 2 months. I was on the shot for a little over 2 years. It took me about 16 months to get back to a regular cycle. Your body needs to process through the chemicals. I definitely wouldn't worry yet. Give your body some more time to work through the shot.

The shot takes a long time to wear off properly. Normally you shouldn't be concerned unless it takes more than a year but with the shot it may even take longer than that. I'd recommend just relaxing and letting it happen when it happens.
(And never ever trying the shot again.)

I wouldn't worry just yet it'll happen for you in time just have faith in god and believe that it will happen in time it takes a healthy couple up to a year to conceive my husband works with a guy that had a baby with his wife after 5 years of trying and they're a perfectly healthy couple
