Super worried😁

A quick little back story- my second child was born early at 34 weeks. As a preventive they have had me on progesterone shots since week 16. I am now 32 weeks. I've been telling my dr the past week I've been having some very intense BH contractions and I constantly feel like I'm about to start my period. He checked me last week and my cervix wasn't soft and was still long. Well when he checked me today my cervix was super soft and I'm already at 1 :/ I am fully aware that people can stay at a 1 for weeks but with my history I'm just worried! Any one else have something silimiar happen?!
