High fertility after miscarriage?

My doctor told me that you are usually very fertile after a miscarriage. Has anyone found this to be true? I am very curious as to what the scientific reason is behind this, I feel like my doctor wouldn't have said that if it was just a myth,

VERY FERTILE INDEED! Momma, I miscarried two weeks ago...Dr told me if I was emotionally, physically and mentally read to conceive again, you can do it as you are more fertile than women who are now TTC. About a week later (last week Friday) I started tracking my ovulation with Clearblue advanced just to see how true it was. I got my first high fertility sign this Wednesday and my actual fertile sign yesterday. We been BD since Monday without even knowing I was going to be fertile this soon. Research also says that the body heals fast after a miscarriage and women will ovulate 12 days later. No exaggeration when I say this. It was exactly 12 days after my miscarriage when I got my high fertile result. I didnt want to lose my chance of conceiving again, and my husband was all for it. So, if you feel like you will be ready by the time you are fertile, Id say go for it. And track you ovulation. You dnt have to wait months, thats just for DR purposes so they can figure out how far you are without the ultrasound. But I am sorry for your loss, I know trying for another baby, wont replace the love build for the baby you loss. Buy, it will fill the void....praying for you!

My cousin got pregnant within weeks of her miscarriage and I miscarried at 5w2d and ovulated exactly 1 week after. I'm in the 2WW right now, so I'm hoping it's true!

I had a miscarriage naturally, and I ovulated the next month. My miscarriage was in March, and we got pregnant again in May on the first try, as I bled through April due to the miscarriage. Now we are 18 weeks!
