When did you find out...

Question

Whether your twins share a placenta or not?  My twins have separate sacs but dr said could still be identical depending on placenta but didn't tell me when we would know that.

My ultrasound tech was able to see at 8 weeks that I dropped two eggs and told me to expect two placentas. I just had a 13 week anatomy scan and there are indeed two.

I was 6w2d at this ultrasound, my next will be at 8w3d should we know then?

We found out at our 12+6 ultrasound... The doctor couldn't tell us at our first ultrasound which was 8+6.  We are having fraternal twin girls.. I am 21+1 now!

My doctor told me at week 10 one placenta he couldnt tell at my first ultrasound so had to come back two weeks later
