So my labor went great, i pushed baby out but almost immediately after I had an awful pain in both shoulders and neck. I had to have my family rub my shoulders and it was the only way to get even slight relief. They would spasm as well. Nurses said something about it maybe gas pains and it would get better when I started moving. So once I got up it did get a little better but I've still had pain off and on since. I'm now about a week and a half postpartum and it seems to have returned full on but only on the right shoulder and up that side of my neck and ear. Often gives me a headache too. This is the only reason I have to take my pain pills. Could this be caused by straining during pushing? Or epidural side effect?? Oh also when my epidural meds would go in I could feel the cool liquid go in near my right shoulder, strange right?? Anyone else experience anything like this? I just want to know what's causing it and when it will pass!
