CRUSH ADVICE NEEDED!

So I like this boy, he's Mormon, and he goes to my school. (Were 13) And he led me on , asking me to dance and walking home from school with me starting conversations with me, flirting with me and anything more. So, then I thought my friend was joking around last night and I dared her to tell him, she actually did.  And he said IDC! He also said that he's known forever and that I told him my self. I kind of think he is an asshole for leading me on then saying IDC but the more I try and hate him the more I like him..... HELP, PLEASE!
