It will depend on how far along you are.  At 20-22
 weeks your uterus is just barely up to your belly button so obviously the first half of your pregnancy you won't feel the baby above your belly button (or even in the belly button area til closer to 20 week)

24+6 and I feel him everywhere from my pubic area to my ribs 😂

I'm 24 weeks and ONLY feel her in my pelvic area. But I know I have a low lying placenta and she loves to cuddle up against it so she's constantly down low all the time. I felt ONE sharp kick one time up near my ribs. Took me by surprise! But that was it. Everything else is low, low, low.
