Hcg levels?

Everyone says the number of their hcg levels. Is that only taken by a blood test at the doctors? Do you just go ask to get your hcg levels tested? And when did you go? I'm confused. Lol. I've gotten 3 positive urine tests (4 weeks and 3 days) but not at the doctors yet and didn't want to wait until my visit cuz its like 3 weeks away and i had a miscarriage early this year and I'm very nervous and need some reassurance.

I had a miscarriage and wanted to know the same thing this time around! Just call and talk to your doctors nurse. She'll send over an order to the nearest lab Corp or other lab and you just go in get you blood drawn and the results are in about a day. Good luck!

If you had a miscarriage they will most likely check your levels and do a recheck if you are concerned, call around and let places know about your concern and find out

I think (in general), these women have undergone treatment and so their levels are being monitored to make sure the pregnancy is progressing.  It's possible too that it's standard for their clinic, but I doubt it. But, yes, the levels are found out via blood test. My clinic had me do a blood test before they would see me and they have most of my medical record available online so I was able to see mine that way. Your clinic might not do serum tests, they may only do urine but I'm sure you could request it

I called and told them I had a positive home  test (more like 20million positives lol) and that was Tuesday. Wednesday I went in for blood and they told me my hcg levels and my progesterone levels. Today I go back again to make sure they're rising. Then they'll create me an appointment

Yes you can only get HCG levels from a blood test.
You can always ask for a blood test but really if will want to do at least 2 48 hours apart to make sure the numbers are increasing properly - the worst they can do is say no.

I didn't have my hcg levels with my frst son as i didn't have any history. I had a miscarriage(chemical pregnancy) after that so with this baby , my dr checked my hcg levels at 5 and 6 weks and an early pelvic ultrasound to make sure everything is ok .
Once we found a strong heart beat, no more tests except for routine anatomy scan at 20 weks

You can always ask for hcg levels as u had a previous MC and to make sure everything is ok my dr would do an early ultra sound aswell
