Empty sac at 4w 6d?

I went to the ER with what turned out to be a burst ovarian cyst. They said they can see the sac but they don't see anything in it. Could it simply be to early?

Yeah that seems pretty early. Try not to worry.

I would notify your OB right away so that they can do another transvaginal ultrasound at 5-6 weeks to check.  Due to this complication, they SHOULD do it for you.

I was high risk and they didn't do an ultrasound until 5 weeks 5 days to check.

Yep deff too early. I had an empty sac at 5 weeks 3 days.  Don't stress, go back when you're about 7 weeks and you should see something
