METFORMIN SIDE EFFECT

I was recently prescribed Metformin by my OBGYN because we just discovered I have a severe case of PCOS. She told me off the bat I would get bloating, gas, mostly intestinal stuff.... well since I started taking it about 4 days ago I have been having these insane hot flashes. It feels like I'm on fire! And these awful migraines.... is there anyone else who has taken this medicine? I need some advice!
