Little did they know... a blessing

was my last day at work today since I have 8 days till I'm due. I work as an aid at an elementary school. There is another aid that is also pregnant, she is a week behind me. They threw a baby shower for her today and I was feeling kind of down, selfishly, since no one had thought to throw me one or show any type of appreciation. Plus it was my last day and I have always gone above and beyond to help anyone even if it's not in my job description, even while pregnant. I guess someone told the other aids that were throwing the shower that it was my last day and they realised no one had thought about me. So as I'm grading papers the other aid that is pregnant comes in with one of her cupcakes and a card. She apologized saying they didn't know it was my last day until recently. Once she left I looked at the card.. there was $420 inside. I couldn't believe it. I didn't know how to thank them. I cried. I feel truly blessed bc my SO is not working at the moment so it's all on me. Little did they know, I only had $11 in my purse and my bank account was overdrawn by $13 for the last month. What a blessing
