breast pump!

Hey ladies! I know we still have some time before our babies are scheduled to arrive, but you never actually know that they'll wait until that day/that month! Right around now might be a good time to talk to your insurance company and doctor about a breast pump if you plan to/hope to feed that way!
We aren't able to pick ours up until the baby is actually born, but my doctor was happy to put the prescription in now just in case our lil girl decides to come early!
There is a good chance that if your insurance is covering your pregnancy that they are required to provide you with a breast pump at no cost (it was an update with the health care changes in the US). I also imagine if you're overseas they are really helpful about it since most other countries understands a little bit better and more reasonably about baby care and such.
I have a secondary insurance through the state who is covering my pregnancy and they have offered me a $350 Medela (?) pump that comes in a "discreet" to-go bag and everything!
Insurance is (usually) expensive! Make sure you're getting all of the benefits you can from it- especially if it means saving you money you can spend on other baby things!
