PCOS and first period

I just started this app because I went off the pill recently. As a senior - which was four years ago - my mom asked me how everything was going in terms of periods. I said I hadn't gotten mine in quite some time. We went to a doctor and I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). With the help of birth control I had regular periods but I've been on the pill for some time now and thought I should give it a go holistically. So this is the second month ever that I got my period on my own on time and yesterday was insane with cramps. Double over in pain and sweating/ready to throw up. Today I got my period and I'm itching to go back on the pills. I feel like waiting another month to see what happens but the pain was so bad. Anyways, hope everyone has a great day!
