I dont get him

Okay so um since we strated school i have seen my guy friend and we been bumping into eachother in the hallway and friday for the first time since we got back to school we hugged when i let go of him and then he let go of me he was holding my hands and idk it felt wierd cuz he has a gf and all my friends say that he likes me and they been saying its wierd and the they think he lukes me should i keeo my distant from him or what shoyld i do
