breastfeeding with a cavity?

I think I have a cavity. I am just worried that if I do get it filled out how do I  manage breastfeeding ?  My lo doesn't know how to use a bottle yet😐 so I can't pump either

Novocain is a local anesthetic it doesn't enter the blood stream you could literally breastfed while you get it done and be totally fine.

Got 6 filings done today 🙈 dentist knew I was breastfeeding and I was told that the anesthesia does not enter the bloodstream.. You should be perfectly fine!

I have to get a filling this week. They know I'm breastfeeding and will accommodate to my needs.

I just had dental work, they said lidocaine is fine and has been tested for breastfeeding moms. He said not to pump n dump. And it wore off fast

I would suggest trying the bottle before you get your filling if your really worried about your milk. You should be ok though, your actually recommended to get dental work done While pregnant, including fillings and extractions. Some people pump and dump but I don't know how reliable that is.
