tummy sleeper?

My daughter is 10 weeks old and sleeps all night when she's sleeping on her tummy. She was 6 weeks early and spent a lot of time on her tummy in the nicu. Her arms aren't smashed and she sleeps with a binki in, in a pack n play. Is this okay?

I'm glad I'm not only one! My little one will be 12 weeks tomorrow and has been sleeping on her tummy for the last 3 weeks. It's the only way to get her to sleep. She will sleep up to 8 hours this way. I monitor her often. She can roll over and has a very strong neck so I pray this is safe for her, my mama instinct tells me it is.

My daughter is 11 weeks old and has been sleeping on her tummy since she was 9 weeks. I was getting absolutely no sleep, I would change her from her rock n play, to her bassinet nothing worked she hated being on her back until I put her in her crib on her tummy, she has great neck control and sleeps all night now and take two 2-3 hour naps a day! My mom and family say how we all slept on our tummies fine and they change what studies say every 5 years!

My 11 week old sleeps on her stomach and has for several weeks.. she doesn't sleep well on her back so I moved her to her tummy. She does great, sleeps for 5-6 hrs, and i haven't been concerned since she sleeps in our room in a pack n play. She has great head control tho, and has since she was just tiny! Do what works for your baby and you!

If she has head control I wouldn't worry so much.

I know alot of babies do sleep on the tummy but there is a higher risk to them suffocating. Sids recommends on the back is safest. My lo sleeps on her side she gets colic and hate being on her back. They say this bvoz babies just move there head and can get stuck and cnt move it back
