birth control after baby

My daughter is almost 3 months old, but at my 6 week pp appointment I was put on Nora-Be (mini pill) due to me breastfeeding. Is anyone else on this? Or have experience with this? When will the nonstop bleeding or spotting end? Some days I feel like my insides are just being ripped apart, but when I called my gyno he said it was just my body adjusting. It seems like after 2 months my body should be well adjusted to the pill by now
