Progesterone and hair loss.

Hey ladies.

I have been recently diagnosed with PCOS. I've been put on progesterone twice now, 1st time nothing happened and I'm hoping this second time I'm able to get my cycle regulated to induce ovulation.

The 1st time I took progesterone, after my monthly had stopped, I noticed that my hair had fallen out in 2 huge chunks (picture provided). I wanted to know if this had happened to anyone else, if so how did you regain hair growth.

According to my PCP, the progesterone is causing me to have alopecia. This happens in 1% of women that take progesterone. I just want to know if I'm alone.

Also how many cycles of progesterone is the norm for someone to conceive, I know progesterone does not cause you to ovulate. I just want to know how long I have to keep putting myself through this....all for the want of a child 💖.
