Twins and sex

The first several months my doctor told me not to have sexual relationship because of high rist of miscarriage and bleeding. Now I'm 20 weeks pregnant with twins and the doctor told me it's ok to have sex now but after it i will have contraction and my belly will harden. It makes me scared even to try. Any advice?
